On December 4th we celebrated Lucius’s First Birthday. We kept the party small, with immediate family only to not completely overwhelm the little guy. He held up pretty well considering all the attention he was getting. Lucius even managed to stay awake for cake and presents!

One year ago today we were anticipating his arrival. But he made us wait another two weeks.
Today Lucius is the center of my world, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lucius loves noodles. Here’s a clip, and my first attempt at sharing a video, of him enjoying Zaru Soba (cold buckwheat noodles with dipping sauce) from our favorite sushi place, Nagano.

PS – Please excuse the ramblings of Jason talking to his brother about cars, specifically BMWs. It may be offensive to some and amusing to others, but it’s a good glimpse into life around here. I’d advise turning sound off, but then you won’t hear Lucius’s adorable slurping noises!
