This past weekend we received and set up Lucius’s new bed! It’s a twin size and he’s adorably tiny in it.
We have even successfully tested it out for a two hour nap. I was most impressed that when he awoke from his nap, Lucius was not drenched in sweat like usual. What’s special about this bed? It’s an all wool mattress and the frame is low to the ground so Lucius can easily crawl up and down on his own. Wool naturally wicks moisture away from the body and helps regulate body temperature to keep you feeling just right – not too hot or cold. I completely believe this is why Lucius slept soundly and didn’t wake himself by overheating. The bed also feels extremely sturdy and I expect it to last generations (or at least until Lucius moves out), which is more than can be said about other furniture we’ve purchased (I’m specifically angry at our dining set).
